Susan Wood, former director of FDA's Office of Women's Health, says that she will have her 11-year-old daugher vaccinated against the HPV virus. Wood argues that making the vaccine mandatory and affordable for 11- and 12-year-old girls will reduce the incidence of cervical cancer and pre-cancerous conditions that require so much medical attention.
